Write for us

Fresh Cricket Guide welcomes clear, original proposals that help readers understand a specific part of cricket. We are interested in useful explanations, careful comparisons and well-framed histories, not match predictions or thinly disguised promotion.

What we welcome

Pitch an evergreen question about laws, tactics, formats, roles or matchday customs. A strong idea has a defined reader, a clear central point and enough substance to explain the subject without relying on a live event, invented anecdotes or unsupported claims.

What makes a good pitch

Tell us the working title, the question the piece answers, why a reader might need the explanation and what sources or material would support it. Note any uncertainty, format-specific detail or possible conflict of interest. We prefer a focused proposal to a finished draft sent without context.

How to send it

Send proposals through the Contact page and choose the editorial question option. Please include a short description of your relevant experience if it helps explain your approach; we do not require formal credentials, and submission does not guarantee publication.
